TELEHEALTH
Telehealth appointments are available over HIPAA complaint Tebra Platform for patients residing in Washington. Medicare does not reimburse for PT delivered over telehealth. If you are outside of the state of Washington, consider enrolling in one of the online self guided classes. Since at this time, Kim is only licensed in the state of Washington Kim can provide consultations for guidance in a limited capacity as a movement coach to help steer you in the right direction if you reside out of state. Kim cannot legally diagnose or treat musculoskeletal injuries or muscular conditions outside of the state of Washington.
Kim can provide pain reprocessing therapy within the state of Washington and pain reprocessing coaching outside of the state of Washington.
PHYSICAL THERAPY TREATMENT
Some insurances require physician referrals, pre-authorization, or a deductible be met before services are covered. Contact your insurance company using the member services on the back of your card to find out what is required and the details of your physical therapy benefits ahead of your appointment.
Most insurances have visit limits. CHPW plans limit visits to 12 per year. Molina limits 12 for one course of care. Additional visits require authorization. Premera, Lifewise plans and Regence plans with the prefix ZLC limit visits to 7 without an authorization. After authorization they typically allow 1-3 more at most (10 total). UDW, XUP plans have a 20 visit per year limit.
We welcome Apple Health Plans (ie Community Health Plan of Washington, Molina, Coordinated Care), Medicare
We are in network for Medicare, Molina, Community Health Plan of Washington, Regence, Blue Cross, Premera, primary insurance and Medicare Advantage plans . Also Lifewise Alpine, Assurance Co, Health Plan of Washington Preferred and Primary plans and Wellcare Medicare Advantage PPO. For details about your physical therapy benefits or for plans not listed here, please call the customer service number on the back of your card to see if physical therapy treatment through Sea2Summit Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation would be covered.
We have made the difficult decision to end our contract at the end of 2025 with United health Care Plans including UHC, UHC Community, UMR and UHC Medicare Advantage due to frequent denials, high dedutibles for patients and their complicated and cumbersome authorization process. As such we will not be accepting new patients desiring to use these plans for PT services. We invite patients with United plans to Check out our reasonable rates and wellness services! Most patients with United plans owe anywhere from $45-$70 per visit. The average number of visits for PT is between 12 and 16. Our self pay rate for the first visit is $100 and $50 for follow ups.
We do not work with auto accident cases (Personal auto insurance) or L&I through third party companies.
